The Mid-America Truck Show 2009 was once again a tremendous success and remained one of the best trucking events of the year. This time around, MATS 2009 had over 930 companies exhibiting and more than 70,000 trucking professionals in attendance throughout the three day event. By the close of the show, it was evident that the trucking industry and its professionals are determined to stay the course during this economic downturn and will come out on top!
Employees of Getloaded.com who had the opportunity to attend this annual event in Louisville, KY report that it was great having the chance to meet members face to face. “It was a great opportunity for some face time with the members we help every day. I love helping people keep their trucks on the road and showing them how Getloaded.com can really help them during these tough times,” said Andrea Harris, Member Relations Manager at Getloaded.com. Sales Representative Austin Schepker also added, “It was nice to connect with our members and receive constructive feedback for improvements to our site.”
Not only did Getloaded.com employees have the opportunity to speak with members, but they were also able to give live demonstrations of new features and prototypes of future enhancements. Jay Theado, Quality Assurance Engineer at Getloaded.com said, “The feedback received from the members was invaluable and will inevitably lead to an even better product.” He also added that “it was good to hear members talk about all the loads they find on our site. We were even able to find some loads for members at the show!”
The Mid-America Truck Show 2009 delivered an extraordinary event and was best summed up by David vanBlaricom, Marketing Manager for Getloaded.com, “While there were over 70,000 people in attendance, we did get to meet a lot of great people and were able to show them how our service could help their business grow. We met some special guests; Steven Donaldson from the Drive and Deliver documentary and ‘Doug’ from the forums. Overall, it was a great time. We loved Louisville and it’s a perfect setting to host an event of this magnitude. We look forward to attending MATS for many years to come and can’t wait until 2010!”
